A rare and highly regarded big-game fly rod, the Scott Asquith 1190-4 #11 was designed by legendary rod builder Jim Asquith during Scott's premium graphite era. At 9 feet for an 11-weight line, this four-piece rod delivers exceptional lifting power, fast recovery, and the backbone required for battling tarpon, giant trevally, billfish, and other powerful saltwater species. The rod combines Scott's signature smooth casting feel with the high-performance characteristics demanded by serious saltwater anglers. Produced during the period when G. Loomis and Shimano were associated with Scott's distribution and ownership, the Asquith models remain sought-after for their blend of craftsmanship, durability, and fish-fighting power.
