Edward Vom Hofe - 471 Reel

We have the pleasure of offering an Edward Vom Hofe model 471 Stipped Bass and Tarpon reel (Pasque) in the size No. 6 (4 3/8" diameter). The model No. 6 is the rarest of this rare breed of reels. This reel is in great original condition and comes with the name of the original owner, Edward Wash, along with an 1899 date engraved on the side. It also comes complete with its original factory box with E.W. Jr. engraved on a metal tag, and E. Vom Hofe N.Y. stamped on the bottom. Though we haven't been Tarpon fishing with this reel, it appears to be up to the task.
