A vintage pack of W&M’s “Super Test” artificial gut leaders, each cut to 3 feet and rated at 2 pounds, made for fine, delicate fly presentations. These early Japanese‑made leaders were prized for their smooth taper, light handling, and reliable turnover with small flies. It’s both a functional glimpse into traditional tackle and a collectible piece of Wright & McGill history.
